We will co-organize the JSPB co-sponsored symposium “Genome Editing Technologies, Their Development and Beyond” at the 16th International Association for Plant Biotechnology Congress 2026 (IAPB2026), which will be held in Saskatoon, Canada, from July 26 to 30, 2026.

The symposium will feature talks and discussions by researchers from Japan and abroad on the development, application, and future perspectives of genome editing technologies in plant biotechnology. It will also provide an opportunity to share recent advances in cutting-edge genome editing research, including plant organelle genome editing, and to further promote international collaboration.
